Signing the Contract
Step 1. Complete and Submit the PA & LOI
The first step of joining Manifest MedEx (MX) is filling out the Participation Agreement (PA) and submitting a Letter of Intent (LOI). Please review the full contract here, and email us at info@iehio.org for a fillable PDF when you’re ready to complete the PA. The LOI must be printed on your company letterhead and signed. We have instructions for completing both the PA and the LOI that can be found here.
While MX encourages that all providers join the HIE, they are currently offering monetary incentives to ambulatory practices that meet certain criteria. When inquiring about the fillable contract, please also indicate (1) the electronic medical record (EMR) your practice is currently using, (2) whether or not your practice accepts Medi-CAL, and (3) your practice type (specialty), and we will let you know whether or not your practice qualifies for a monetary incentive.
Please email or call us at (951) 686-3342 to get the process started, and we will happily walk you through each step.
Sharing Data
A patient panel is a list of your patients and information about your patients extracted directly from your EMR. Once you have completed and submitted your PA and LOI to IEHIO, we will introduce you to MX’s Customer Success team. At this point, your assigned Customer Success Specialist will schedule a virtual meeting to move your practice forward by:
- Helping you learn to navigate and use the MX portal according to your practice’s needs
- Providing logins for your team
- Training your team to use the notification service to get real-time alerts whenever your patients are admitted to or discharged from the hospital or ED
- Uploading your patient panel so that MX knows which patients to send you notifications for
